We are sad to tell you that have made the decision to cancel this years color run due to COVID-19. Please stay tuned for future race dates in 2021. We are wishing you and your family health and happiness.
Run or walk on a 5-kilometer (3.1 mile) course that starts and ends at Pacific Crest Middle School and loops around Summit High School, Discovery Park and Miller Elementary School. Sponsored by Summit High School Interact Club, volunteers will guide you at all turns and crossings and you'll have great views of the Cascades! You'll get a white t-shirt (in your race packet) to wear during the run, and if you choose, colorful non-toxic dye can be thrown at you at various stations along the course to plaster your shirt in the colors of Nepalese prayer flags!
This event is a special fundraiser for Ten Friends, a dynamic local nonprofit that supports important education and health projects in Nepal. Everyone is welcome to participate - runners, walkers and strollers are encouraged (but no dogs please). When the run is over, enjoy good eats and drinks from some of our local food trucks/vendors, and take advantage of sponsor booths, a raffle drawing and live music. There might even be some extra dye to toss around!
The Registration table opens at 8:00 am (if you haven't already done this online) and you can pick up your race packet then. The run will begin at 10:00 am sharp. Last year's Summit Interact 5K Color Run for Ten Friends was so much fun and we raised $2,500 for Ten Friends! This year promises to be even better and we can't wait to see you there!
Registration is a two-step process and can be done online or at the race!
